  • Work with the Head of Income Generation to deliver the agreed fundraising strategy and targets.
  • Build relationships proactively throughout Essex & Hertfordshire to secure partnerships and support.
  • Work with organisations that have selected Essex & Herts Air Ambulance as their charity of the year/long term partner. Support, encourage and steward these relationships.
  • Assist, support and liaise with large/more complex third-party fundraisers such as individuals, schools, groups and societies etc.
  • Develop key fundraising initiatives/projects in Essex & Herts. Research ideas, create project plans, work within agreed budgets and ensure required income is generated. Produce evaluation reports for the Head of Income Generation.
  • Manage, develop and oversee the work of the Essex and Herts Fundraising team.
  • Make decisions around which community events the Charity supports.
  • Work closely with the Volunteering Manager and team to ensure community events have adequate volunteer/staff cover.
  • Attend as and when necessary EHAAT’s own events and key community events.
  • Biannually manage the chosen overseas challenge working with chosen supplier. Work with the Head of Income Generation to research destinations. Ensure revenue and attendee targets are met, support trekkers and attend challenges if and when required.
  • Deliver presentations to internal and external parties.
  • Work with the Comms team to initiate a comms plan for each initiative/project to reach objectives and targets set.
  • Ensure the Fundraising team supply the Comms Team with all necessary information so that press releases can be issued, websites, Facebook and Twitter can be updated.
  • Attend airbase visits for key fundraisers and corporates.
  • Work closely with the Head of Income Generation to set appropriate targets and objectives.
  • Provide financial reporting to the Head of Income Generation.
  • Attend relevant networking events on a regular basis in order to promote the work of the Charity.
  • Understand and use the Trust donor database effectively to aid fundraising.
