Job Details

I am delighted to be working with one of the country's leading independent day schools for girls, located on a six-acre site in West London. The School's facilities are excellent, making it an exciting place to learn and work. The students receive unrivalled academic and pastoral support and outstanding examination results are achieved.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Development Manager to join the team to help in delivering a comprehensive fundraising programme and encouraging lifelong engagement and support of the School. The Development Manager will play a key role in the School's fundraising and development activities and will be expected to be involved in all aspects of the Development team's work. An important focus of the role is to be responsible for the Annual Fundraising campaigns, building a prospect pool by managing excellent relationships with donors and prospects and maintaining excellent records on the fundraising database.

Location: West London

Salary: circa 35,000 per annum plus benefits

Contract: Permanent

The successful candidate will have proven development and fundraising experience, in any sector, with an ambition to build a career in Development. You will have experience of maintaining and managing a CRM database (ideally Raiser's Edge or equivalent) and of organising and managing events. Empathy with the principles, ethos, aims and aspirations of independent schools and a belief in the need to widen access is essential for this position.

Closing date for applications: ASAP as applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis
