Development Manager Role – Clarendon Living
Our client is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Partnerships Team as a Development Manager for their subsidiary, Clarendon Living. As the commercial arm of the business, Clarendon Living delivers high-quality homes across a range of tenures – both independently and in partnerships with others.
In this role you will be responsible, through the Managing Director of Clarendon Living and to the Board of Clarendon Living, for the effective leadership and development of Clarendon Living and the associated Joint Venture opportunities it serves.
You will work in partnership with the Director of Development and contribute to business development, achievement of high performance and targets, and overall success and growth of business through the application of leadership, business and professional technical skills.
The ideal candidate for this role will have recent and relevant experience within a similar role and as such will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of effective partnership working with other agencies and customers in delivering Clarendon Living’s goals, especially with regard to new developments and strategic alliances.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience
- Able to understand complex business management information including Sequel and Proval LS.
- Develop and apply appropriate strategies and processes for the successful achievement of plans and targets, ensuring all regulatory and inspection requirements are met.
- Knowledge of housing development and relevant financial, legal and statutory requirements.
- Relevant professional housing qualification (e.g. CIOH).
You will need to hold a UK driving licence with access to a suitable vehicle with business use insurance cover. You will also need to maintain a satisfactory basic level DBS check.
