Job Details

Do you have a proven track record in administration, great attention to detail, a can-do attitude and a desire to change the world?

Our client receives no government funding, so relies on a passionate movement of supporters to prevent animal suffering. They are looking for a talented administrator to help deliver world-class communication with these donors, campaigners, fundraisers and potential supporters/legators to maintain and grow their enthusiastic participation in the fight to end factory farming.

Set within a vibrant Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Team, this role is essential to the activities of our client and will offer a strong insight into the workings of the charity. You will need excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, great attention to detail and a systematic approach. Good computer literacy is vital, as is the ability to juggle a variety of tasks to tight deadlines.

Fundraising and Legacy Assistant Requirements:

The successful applicant will be able to work autonomously but will also enjoy working with the input and support of other team members in a dynamic environment.

Our client is committed to providing equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of their background. They value diversity and lived experience, and acknowledge the underrepresentation of people from certain backgrounds, both within their organisation and across the sector. They welcome applications from underrepresented groups, whether these be of ethnicity, gender, identity, religion, physical ability, sexual orientation, or other.

About our client:

They are the leading charity campaigning for farm animal welfare. Their mission is to end factory farming – the biggest form of animal cruelty on the planet and the issue at the centre of many of the world’s biggest challenging debates including climate change and sustainable food production to feed an ever-increasing global population.

In order to comply with legal requirements, as part of their selection process they ask all potential employees to prove their eligibility to work in the UK.

Why work for our client?

• For animals, people and planet: They are on a mission to end factory farming and create a world where fresh air and sunshine are natural parts of any farming system.
• To expand your current skills, develop your career and make a difference to the lives of billions
• They offer 25 days paid holiday
• 45 minutes by train from London Waterloo, their international headquarters are in Godalming near Guildford, a picturesque market town on the banks of the River Wey.
• They occupy modern, bright open plan offices just two minutes walk from Godalming station
• Free parking
