Bipolar UK

Bipolar is a severe mental illness characterised by extreme highs and depressive lows. Having the condition increases the risk of suicide by 20 times. Bipolar UK is the national charity for people affected by the condition. Our mission is to empower everyone affected by bipolar to live well and achieve their potential. This includes close friends and family.

This is an exciting time to join Bipolar UK as we are a rapidly expanding charity with big plans to grow our income and impact over the next five years. We are looking for an ambitious and talented individual who will maximise the opportunities presented by the Bipolar Commission and key strategic relationships. This will involve reopening and growing our network of in-person Peer Support groups, maximising the impact of our expanding digital resources and generating income and support from key partnerships and major donors.

If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and a covering letter to skitchen@bipolaruk.org by 9am on Monday 20 September.

Covering letters should be a maximum of two A4 sides and set out candidates’ experience in relation to the person specification above. They should also focus on any other relevant suitability for the post that candidates would like to highlight, including why you would like to work for Bipolar UK.
