Location: MSSC National Support Centre, London, SE1 7JW
Hours: 9.00am to 5.00pm. We offer flexible working, with an option to flex start and leaving times and offer a hybrid working approach whereby employees can choose to work remotely for up to 3 days a week if they wish. Employees will be required to be in the office on a Tuesday to aid collaboration/networking etc.
Salary: £32,000-£35,000 per annum

Marine Society and Sea Cadets (MSSC) is a leading maritime charity in lifelong learning and personal development and is the governing charity of the Sea Cadet Corps (SCC), a civilian voluntary youth organisation engaging some 15,000 young people over 400 Sea Cadet Units, throughout the UK. The SCC offers a wide range of youth opportunities with the same enduring objective – to give young people the best possible head start in life through nautical adventure and fun.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Resolution Manager (RM) to join our busy and vibrant Volunteer Support Team. This role will be the expert in conflict resolution within Sea Cadets, overseeing all complaints received, and coordinating each complaint to ensure they are dealt with both appropriately and in a timely manner. This post will play a key role in the delivery of effective support for volunteers, Area teams and the adoption of good practice in managing conflict and complaints.
You will have an aptitude for problem solving and experience of working in conflict resolution and managing complex cases to a very best standard. You will be an excellent listener with the ability to manage and navigate difficult conversations to quickly establish the route of the problem. Yow will be able to work unsupervised, following set processes, with strong decision making skills and the ability to manage your own deadlines, maintaining records and systems with data protection awareness.
