Closing date for applications: 19th September
Our client is looking for a Director of Income Generation to take responsibility for the strategic and commercial leadership of all income and funding streams to the Trust. The focus of the role is to maximise existing income streams and to develop new and innovative income streams.
You’ll identify both core and project fundraising – increasing and diversifying ways in which the Trust generates funds to increase income. You’ll oversee the Nature Discovery Centres and also the ecological consultancy, ensuring that they are commercially astute – working to establish, develop and maintain key relationships. The role focuses on the long-term financial viability of the Trust and future-proofing income streams in order to mitigate against the associated funding risks and the increasing competition for funds within the charity sector.
They’re looking for someone with strong operational, finance or fundraising experience, that has great commercial insight and experience to lead the Trust’s income generating activity and support the next stage growth and development.
You’ll need experience of developing and leading on the delivery of a commercial strategy, developing relationships with corporate partners, identifying and leading development of new income streams and project managing relevant activity. A demonstrable understanding of the markets in which they operate and the partner requirements of those that they engage with, aligned with an understanding of the dynamics and differences of leading and working in a charity are also essential to the role.
Our client wants their people to be as diverse as nature, so they particularly encourage applications from people who are underrepresented within their sector, including people from minority backgrounds and people with disabilities. They are committed to creating a movement that recognises and truly values individual differences and identities.
As a Disability Confident employer, they are committed to offering an interview to anyone with a disability that meets all the essential criteria for the post. Please let us know if you require any adjustments to make the recruitment process more accessible.
