Public Sector Partnerships Lead (Senior Officer)

Location: Flexible

Salary: £29,285 per annum

Contract type: Full time, permanent

Closing date: 1st October 2021

We are looking for a Public Sector Partnerships Lead (Senior Officer) to manage Beat’s partnerships with public sector organisations.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to manage the relationships with some of Beat's most valuable partners, enabling us to help more people than ever before.

- Engaging new partners (predominantly NHS Trusts)

- Project managing contract delivery in collaboration with Beat delivery teams

- Providing high quality account stewardship for our partners

- Developing and implementing Beat’s strategy for increasing income from public sector funders

Beat has been working in partnership with the public sector (NHS) for many years, offering a wide range of packages for commission by NHS trusts. Our services focusing on supporting parents and carers are currently the most popular. As Public Sector Partnerships Lead you will oversee this entire function: engaging new partners; managing the contracts we have with existing partners and securing ongoing commitments.

A particular area of increase has been in NHS commissioning; NHS Trusts are looking for reliable partners with whom they can deliver on ambitious mental health targets, and Beat is a preferred partner. Over the years we have been working with the NHS, and in particular in our ability to respond with agility, creativity and efficacy to the Covid pandemic, Beat has built an excellent reputation for high quality service design and delivery.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the role is the opportunity to work closely with the CEO and Directors, as well as with colleagues from across all of Beat’s Directorates. Candidates with the gravitas and personability to work with people at all levels will therefore do well in this role. You will be trusted with a high degree of autonomy and significant freedom to shape the role and grow the public sector partnerships programme.

Beat offers 26 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays increasing to a maximum of 30 days. Additionally Beat provides membership of a Cash Plan Scheme to all employees and offers flexible working.
