Job Details

I am working on a very exciting 12-month fixed term contract HR Business Partner role, working for an arts charity starting in September 2021. The position is paying £40,000 and the charity supports museums and galleries, helping them to buy and display works of art so they can be shown to the public.

The charity has around 70 employees and has been in existence for over 100 years. The HRBP role will work closely with the Head of HR and will also mentor the HR Coordinator on a daily basis.

The main purpose of this HRBP role is to provide excellent generalist HR support to the charity.You will work with managers on a range of employment areas such as flexible working, grievances, disciplinaries, sickness absence, performance management processes. In collaboration with the HR Project Coordinator the HRBP will build a structured annual programme of learning and development to cater for a variety of learning preferences along with informal lunch and learn briefings. Finally, you will support on the development of the HR service and align with the charity's aims, for example improving internal processes, delivering initiatives that align with EDI workstreams.

The charity offers hybrid working to all employees which means that you will be able to work two days a week from home. This role would suit an experienced CIPD qualified HR professional who has worked for a small organisation previously.
