I am working in partnership with a maritime youth charity who are looking to recruit a Senior HR Advisor on a 13-month fixed term contract paying £35,000 until October 2022.Through learning the charity helps provide young people with important skills to help them make a better life for themselves. The charity currently has 200 employee's and their head of office is in central London.
The purpose of this Senior HR Advisor job is to support the charity's employees in a wide range of HR duties. You will be part of a small but friendly HR team and you will have the opportunity to manage the HR Officer.
The key responsibilities of this important HR post is to provide professional and customer focused HR support across the charity. You will oversee the employee benefits and work with the HR Officer and HR Co-ordinator on the monthly payroll and pensions administration, ensuring everything is up to date and correct. You will lead on employee relation cases and support and advise managers when required. The role also needs someone to manage and deliver on HR projects including delivering change initiatives and HR policy updates.
This Senior HR Advisor role will allow someone to work 3 days a week from home and you will deputise for the Director of HR when they are on leave. It would be beneficial to have worked for a non-profit organisation before and you must have supported at a similar level previous.
