Our client makes sure people living with MS are at the centre of everything they do. And it’s this commitment that unites them across the UK.

Their work is based on the hopes and aspirations of their MS community. Together they campaign at all levels, fund ground-breaking research and provide award winning support and information.

Their people are their greatest asset and the key to their success. They offer a vibrant, progressive environment where you will make a difference.

About this job

They have an exciting and ambitious organisational and research strategy, based on what people affected by MS have told them is important to them, and it gives them a clear and determined focus. They have big aspirations and they need brilliant people to help them achieve their ambitious goals.

Their ultimate goal is to find a cure, but until then, they will do all that they can to enable people with MS to live life, knowing that they do not have to face MS alone.

They’re looking for a motivated individual to support the Research team to deliver a high-quality and relevant research programme that involves people affected by MS.

Reporting to the Research Programme Manager, this role involves supporting the charity’s research strategy by assisting the whole research team across four key areas: research award funding; public involvement in research; research communications; coordination of research team activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop experience in the wide range of activities carried out by the research team. You’ll be joining a supportive and friendly team at an exciting time as they launch a multi-million pound clinical trials platform.

Academic health research experience from a relevant science degree or equivalent work experience is essential.

They offer 35 days annual leave (including bank holidays), travel loan and various other benefits such as supported developmental opportunities.

The charity is in the midst of an exciting, transformational, period which builds on their great history and will drive them towards achieving their mission and vision as they embark on their new 5 year strategy.

As part of this exciting transformation, they’ll be moving from their current base in Cricklewood, London to Finsbury Park, London later this year. They’re expecting to be moving into their new office from August 2021.

Closing date: 9am on Wednesday 18 August
