If you are an experienced relationship manager looking for your next step with some of the UK’s best-loved nature charities, then they have an exciting opportunity for you. They are looking for a talented individual to help them grow the impact of The Trusts’ engagement with the private sector.

Who our client are

Our client are a grassroots movement of 870,000 members, 38,000 volunteers and 2,800 staff across the UK. They are at an exciting moment in their 110-year history, with an ambitious new strategy in development setting out a vision of nature in recovery, with abundant, diverse wildlife and natural processes creating wilder landscapes where people and nature thrive.

Our client believes that by working together with others they can achieve more for wildlife than they would on their own. They are seeking a skilled individual to support them in building common cause with businesses to help turn round the nature and climate emergencies.

This role, within the central charity, will be instrumental in delivering their Corporate Partnerships Strategy, managing existing national relationships and developing new partnerships, and supporting the 46 Trusts across the UK to grow their collective income and impact for nature.

As Corporate Relationships Manager, you will work with businesses to improve the management of land for nature and climate, which will include engaging with companies within a range of sectors, including food and farming, infrastructure, finance and technology.

About you

You will be a credible, motivated self-starter who is able to take the lead in enthusing business contacts and colleagues across the wider Trusts family.

You will be an expert communicator, experienced in managing and deepening mutually beneficial relationships with corporates and overseeing the delivery of agreed activities. You will have a proven track record in successfully developing new relationships and in driving income growth.

They want their people to be as diverse as nature, so they particularly encourage applications from people who are underrepresented within their sector, including people from minority backgrounds and people with disabilities. They are committed to creating a movement that recognises and truly values individual differences and identities.

As a Disability Confident employer, our client are committed to offering an interview to anyone with a disability that meets all the essential criteria for the post. Please let them know if you require any adjustments to make their recruitment process more accessible.
