Job Details

I am delighted to be working with an amazing community development organisation in search of an experienced Grant Administrator. You will provide administration support to the Associate Director for Fundraising, Insights and Impact for grant making programmes. You will ensure robust mechanisms are in place at every stage of the grant making cycle and the grant making programme runs effectively throughout the year. You will lead on a range of special projects within the organisation.

Principal accountabilities:
Leading on the document digitisation project and other special projects as and when they arise
Responsible for the archiving process both electronically and manually in line with the charity's policy and where necessary coordinating management and staff to ensure archiving is carried out.
Working closely with the Executive Assistant, providing logistical and administration support for meetings and Board events if required.
Acting as the first point of contact for Grant enquiries and supporting the development of grant applications by providing guidance over the phone to potential applicants regarding the eligibility of their organisation or proposal.
Undertaking due diligence of applicant organisations to ensure they meet funding criteria, identifying any financial or governance concerns.
Managing the assessment process by preparing papers for the internal and external assessment panels.
In line with the Equality & Diversity policy ensure, as far as possible, that all relevant audiences are made aware of the community grants programme, and that the scheme is accessible to all eligible applicants.
Ensuring the organisation is represented at funders' fairs and other relevant events.
Entering data on the grant management system in accordance with processes.
Accurately processing applications to issue grant agreements and payments to funded groups.
Keeping the website up to date with key dates and materials for applicants.
Visiting applicants and funded groups, as required.
Supporting the production and analysis of data from the database and other sources to provide management information as required.
Ensuring that grant monitoring reports are received and processed in line with the Trust's grant making policy.
