Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of London's largest and most successful charitable social enterprises, operating 42 award-winning nurseries, including some in London's most disadvantaged areas. The organisation is committed to giving all children access to high quality childcare, and they invest all profits back into the business.
Many of the nurseries include a mix of children from different socioeconomic backgrounds. This is proven to have a positive effect on the development of all children, but particularly those from poorer backgrounds. Where possible, the organisation employs local staff and recruits apprentices which brings an economic benefit to disadvantaged communities.
I am looking for a Chef Academy Projects Lead to join the team on an initial 1-year fixed term contract.
Location: London
Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 per annum
Contract: 1-year fixed term contract
This is a unique opportunity to drive the development of one of the organisation's flagship projects: The Chef Academy. It was launched in 2019 to ensure children aged 0-7 years are receiving the nutrition they need to grow and learn whilst aiming to play its part in addressing the current early childhood obesity crisis. This is an opportunity for an individual with an aptitude for strategic thinking, business case development and strong project management skills to lead an ambitious programme with the potential for real social impact across the UK.
The successful candidate will have project management experience with a demonstrable track record of meeting deliverables and managing budgets. You will have experience of working within a business development role or equivalent with demonstrable experience of testing business models and constructing business plans.
