About the role
Our client is currently seeking a Head of Asset Management & Investment to lead their approach to Asset Management. You’ll ensure that they have homes and communities that are safe for their customers and that they provide homes and communities that meet their customers evolving needs. As well as maximize the return on their assets, you’ll ensure they invest efficiently to meet sustainability and decarbonisation targets, as well as Invest in long term, sustainable assets.
Your key requirements for this role include:
- Develop their approach to Strategic Asset Management in a way that is consistent with the organisation’s wider direction, aspirations and ambitions and is responsive to changes within the sector.
- Lead their zero-carbon agenda
- Develop and implement an effective and affordable Asset Management Strategy, investment plan and procurement strategy for their assets
- Develop and implement their approach to stock reinvestment, acquisition, regeneration, and disposal
- Develop and monitor a performance model for their assets
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate the following:
- You’ll hold a relevant management qualification and Professional Qualification (e.g. RICS, MCIOB, MCABE) but other achievements / qualifications will be considered
- Significant experience of general business management working at a senior management level as part of a leadership team.
- Extensive experience at a senior level of asset management, stock sustainability, property investment, and programme planning and ICT project planning.
- Experience of managing budgets, financial cost modelling and life cycle costs.
