Senior Wellbeing Coach
Location
: The Nest hub in Peckham and across the London Borough of Southwark as required
Contract: Until March 2023
Salary: £34,000 per annum
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours)

This is a community charity with a green heart that has been at the forefront of social and environmental regeneration in London for over 20 years. Each year they deliver hundreds of innovative environmental and social action projects across the capital. Their projects change places and lives for the better in some of London’s most deprived and disadvantaged neighbourhoods. This includes working with communities to make their neighbourhoods greener and more resilient to climate change, supporting long-term unemployed individuals to find work, helping young people get back into education and training and advising residents how to save money on their energy and water needs

The Nest is this charity's mental wellbeing support service for young people aged 11 – 25 and living in the London Borough of Southwark. Since launching as a remote service in May of 2020, right in the middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic, The Nest has gone from strength to strength and they are looking for passionate, experienced, skilled and driven individuals to join the team to support them as they expand in 2021.

The Senior Wellbeing Coach will have the relevant experience and accreditation to provide wellbeing support for children and young people through the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions in one-to-one and group formats for service users with a range of needs.

While your focus will be the delivery of therapeutic interventions for your own caseload, you will also be responsible for providing training relating to different aspects of service delivery to other members of your team and representing The Nest at clinical and referral review meetings with other services across Southwark.

Most important of all will be your approach: they’re an exciting, fast-paced and ever-growing service at the forefront of early intervention mental health support for young people in Southwark, so they’re looking for people with the ambition and commitment to match their own.

Closing date for applications: 9am 9th August 2021
Interview date: 17th August 2021 (interviews will be conducted remotely)
