Woking, Surrey

If you have solid experience of successfully managing payment processes within the charity sector this is a unique opportunity to use your experience to save our world. Right now, the planet is under threat like never before. But there is hope. At WWF we know the solutions already exist to turn things around for future generations. We want you to join us as Supporter Operations Banking Manager / Income Optimisation Manager which is a new role within the organisation and help us scale up our efforts to save our Earth.

Join us and you will help manage and drive continuous improvement across our back-office banking infrastructure. Line managing and developing a small team, you will work on a number of operational development objectives and projects designed to improve our income generation. We will look to you to streamline our current processes as well as identify and project manage key continuous improvement initiatives, including utilising new and advanced technology for payment handling. You will also act as the point of contact for regulatory compliance and ensure the successful delivery of all Direct Debit & Gift Aid claims

For this role, you must have experience of successfully managing payment processes within the charity sector in in-depth knowledge of Fundraising Regulations, and compliance across Direct Debits, Gift Aid and PCI-DSS. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver service improvement with customers through process, systems and people. You will be comfortable developing the talents of direct reports and engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders too. Important will be the ability to show an understanding of how service operations impact the strategic outcomes of an organisation, and how initiatives successfully implemented will deliver supporter growth, increased supporter satisfaction, or reduce cost.

You will also have an eye for detail as well as good communication, interpersonal     and organisational skills. You will be effective at meeting deadlines and controlling budgets too.

If you have the financial understanding to help us better serve our supporters, enable new ways of giving and improve reconciliation of our income, we would love to hear from you. Please visit our website via the link and submit a copy of your up-to-date CV and the Supporting Statement to highlight what makes you a good fit for us.

Every role at WWF is open to applications from all sections of society. We believe in the potential of everyone regardless of; sex, race, religion or belief, ethnic origin, different physical ability, family structure, socio-economics, age, nationality or citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other aspect that makes you, well you.  Here at WWF we’re committed to conscious inclusion that helps cultivate an ethos of belonging, connection and shared purpose.  We believe that the more diverse we are the better we become; this brings us together and empowers us to develop, engage and inspire; and critically to help build a future where people can live in harmony with nature.

Our policies and benefits reflect the importance of people being able to have a good work-life balance and being able to bring their ‘full self’ to work.

Our world needs you like never before. We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it. We’re looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet’s natural resources. We need you to join us in the fight for our world.
