They are looking to recruit Head of Evaluation.
Are you strategic? Do you have technical knowledge in these areas - RCTs, nimble trials, evaluation methodologies i.e. randomised controlled trials, non-experimental designs, choice of outcome measurement and quantitative approaches?

Some of the responsibilities will involve:
*Leading, developing and managing the evaluation team, ensuring it is a cohesive team where colleagues feel valued and able to work effectively, and ensuring there are clear lines of accountability and responsibility across the team which foster and maintain effective working relationships for the organisation
*Lead the approach to evaluation and support the team to commission and manage high-quality evaluations of projects;
*Lead the relationships with the research community, including managing the appointments to the panel of evaluators, supporting the coordination of evaluator events, and oversee the commissioning process;
*Liaise across project delivery teams and evaluators to design robust yet practical evaluations, and support the Evaluation Managers to set up and monitor delivery of evaluation plans, serving as an escalation point where problems arise;
*Develop and improve resources to clarify best practice and build capability of evaluators to deliver high quality evaluations;
This role requires you to demonstrate:
*Extensive experience in delivering or commissioning mixed-method evaluation projects in education, health or another related field;
*Understanding of innovative experimental methods such as nimble trials.
*Understanding of scaling strategies and scale-up evaluation.
*A track record of driving quality and innovation in an evaluation and research context;
*Strong organisational and project management skills;
*Outstanding track record of delivery on collaborative projects requiring multi-disciplinary teams to deliver against tight timelines;
*A proven track record of leading, motivating and managing the performance and development of a small, high-performing team, encouraging enterprise in others;
*Aptitude for working flexibly and proactively in a ambitious organisation;
*Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, evidenced by close, successful relationship building with stakeholders at all levels (such as practitioners, academics and policy-makers);
*The ability and credibility to act as an effective ambassador at the highest level;
*The ability to inspire the confidence, enthusiasm and support of colleagues and decision makers;
*The capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects, delivering a high volume of quality work to meet deadlines;
*A pro-active, entrepreneurial approach.
