Vibrance has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Finance to join our team in Bethnal Green, London. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week including flexible working/working from home. In return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.
Vibrance is a charity supporting many hundreds of people with a disability across London and the south-east of England. We pride ourselves on providing high quality support and our values are extremely important to the people we support. It is, therefore, crucial that all of our staff, including those not working directly with Service Users, understand and embody those values.
For the Director of Finance position this will mean demonstrating to us at interview not only your superb financial acumen and management skills, but also a passion and commitment for addressing the many challenges that face people with a disability in their striving to lead an ordinary life.
Once in post you will not just be office based but will visit our services to work closely with the managers, and our Operations Team, to better understand the challenges and pressures that are a reality in the current world of social care. We believe this makes the role all the more attractive.
As well as managing the diverse Finance Team, you will attend Board and Audit and Finance Committee meetings working closely with the Treasurer and other Trustees to fulfil your responsibility of leading on financial strategic planning within the charity.
You will join a small and supportive Senior Management Team who are fully involved in developing the overall strategic direction of Vibrance.
