Job Details

TPP's Fundraising and Development team is delighted to be supporting a London-based charity that supports women affected by domestic abuse with the search for a Fundraising and Business Development Manager. This part-time (4 days per week) permanent position, reporting to the CEO, will manage a team of 5 and is responsible for income generation across a broad range of income streams.

The charity has grown in recent years. This post has responsibility for ensuring that there is adequate income to sustain the organisation's work year on year, and that income develops and grows in line with the charity's strategic plans. The team raises funds from Trusts & Foundations, Statutory, Corporate, Major Donor and Community sources (although funding is skewed towards Trusts, Foundations and Statutory). The role sits within the senior management team, and is a post that will work cross departmentally. You will oversee the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy and the funding pipeline; ensure the maintenance and development of excellent relationships with current and new funders, stewarding grants and reporting back; review, update and develop service budgets; oversee the submission or coordination of quality bids, approaches, and events; and carry out or lead the commissioning of service evaluations.

To be considered for this role you will have previous experience of leading fundraising teams, and ideally responsibility of managing (and fulfilling) an income target of £800k+. You will have direct knowledge and experience of working with Trusts, Foundations and Statutory funders (both in terms of securing funding and ensuring the quality of funding reports), and a good knowledge and understanding of the other fundraising areas that you will manage. An in depth knowledge of charity regulations, GDPR, and Diversity and Inclusion is also essential. You will require strong written and interpersonal skills, good leadership skills, and be able to work remotely (in time this role will return to a hybrid working pattern of 2 days remote, 2 days in the office).

Please note that pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, this post is only open to female applicants.

If you are interested in this fantastic post, please send an updated CV through in response to this advert in the first instance. Alternatively, contact Matt Adams on matt.adams@tpp.co.uk / 0207 198 6040 for a confidential discussion.
