Interim Director of Operations - 6 months - 3 days per week
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 (£50,000-£55,000 FTE)
TPP are delighted to be supporting in the recruitment of an interim part time Operations Manager for a well-established youth empowerment charity based in London (Belsize Park), the role will be expected to work 1-2 days per week in office the rest is fle xible on a remote basis.
This post has been created to bridge a gap due to a current senior member of the team moving on from post and while they hire in a new staff member and as such to ensure continuity within HR, Finance, IT & Governance, they are seeking the post holder to start in August (16th) and this will be for a period of approx. 6 months.
As well as maintaining finance, governance, IT and HR responsibilities the incumbent will be expected to take on some exciting existing and new projects such as implementation and roll out of Salesforce into the organisation, launch of a new website and the appointment of new auditors.
You will be reporting directly to CEO, and responsible for line management of the Finance Manager and Data Manager.
Aims of the post
- The post of Director of Resources will develop and lead operational planning and performance management across the Anne Frank Trust, so that all available resources are harnessed strategically and efficiently to maximise the charity's growth and impact.
- The postholder will have overall responsibility for managing and continuously improving the Trust's administrative and other support functions, including finance, facilities, IT, HR, governance and data.
Personal Specification
Qualifications
- Educated to at least degree level.
- Relevant qualification, e.g. in management, HR, governance, IT, finance, law or business.
Experience
- A track record of generating and leading extensive operational plans that deliver organisation-wide improvements in efficiency, productivity and impact.
- Significant experience of managing administrative and other support functions, including finance (Quickbooks), facilities, IT, HR, CRM systems (Salesforce) and data.
- Experience of developing and implementing performance management frameworks for staff.
- Substantial experience of managing and developing staff.
- Experience of procurement and contract management.
Knowledge
- Highly developed, well-articulated expertise in strategic thinking, organisational development and project management.
- Expertise in operating and commissioning IT, especially how digital means can be used to improve effectiveness.
- Working knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Awareness of issues for the voluntary sector, including best practice in governance.

North London flexible working with expectation to attend office 1-2 days per week.
