Our client receives no government funding so relies entirely on the generosity of supporters to prevent cruelty to farm animals all over the world. Their supporters are absolutely vital to their effectiveness as a campaigning organisation.

An exciting role has opened up in their Supporter Engagement Team for someone who can provide outstanding support for, and develop meaningful relationships with, their supporters: campaigners, volunteers, fundraisers and donors to deepen their engagement and activity with the organisation. This role will help develop and deliver a world class service to their supporters, and an innovative and engaging stewardship communications programme.

Supporter Engagement and Social Media Officer Responsibilities:

The role will also have specific responsibilities to steward our client’s growing social media communities, and to facilitate their Planning Permission (objections) process.

Set within a vibrant Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Team this role is essential to the activities of our client and will offer a strong insight into the workings of the charity. You will need to have excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate with a wide variety of individuals and be able to juggle a variety of tasks and workloads. No two days are the same.

Supporter Engagement and Social Media Officer Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written are needed, as well as a creative approach to problem solving. Good database and computer literacy will also be an advantage.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work autonomously but will enjoy working with the input and support of other team members in a dynamic environment.

Salary: £23,000 (Depending on experience) increasing to £23,800 after 6 months (subject to successful probation)

Contract: Permanent, full time, office based

Hours: 37 hours per week
