Advice Session Supervisor

Based in an inner city multi-racial area of Leeds, Chapeltown Citizens Advice is an independent charity with 19 paid staff and 45 volunteers that provides a comprehensive advice service from its main office and outreaches.

We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Advice Session Supervisor  to help ensure the effective and efficient delivery of our office and home based services.

The focus of the post is to be responsible for the organisation and smooth running of our telephone advice and front line generalist service. The post holder will provide Advice Session Supervision duties, ensuring a high quality service is provided to all clients and the rota is adequately staffed to meet the demands of the service. The job will also involve the development and supervision of all volunteer advisors.

The successful candidate will be well organised, self-motivated with excellent communication skills and able to provide support and assistance to new and existing paid staff and volunteers ensuring the delivery of a high quality advice service

You will have extensive experience or in-depth knowledge of the advice sector and have an understanding of the importance of support, development and motivation.
