About the role 
Our client, a charitable trust, are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Step Forward Tees Valley team as a Navigator. You will manage a caseload of participants with complex barriers and provide 1:1 support to people who are long term unemployed to help them move towards and access training and employment.

By providing intensive support and advice, the team will help each participant develop a tailored action plan and identify how this can be best met through existing services and/or via Step Forward Tees Valleys health, employment, financial and digital inclusion services.

As a Navigator you would be responsible for engaging and supporting participants through every stage in their journey, addressing barriers and introducing activities to support progression.

This role will work solely on the Step Forward Tees Valley programme.

About you 
They want someone who has proven experience of working successfully with people who have multiple barriers to employment and is able to run participant engagement activities. Experience of regularly using a Management Information System to support with caseload and diary management. Proficient in accurately completing and updating required paperwork whilst maintaining quality assurance to support in achieving set targets. Your role will require you to have the ability to work effectively within a partnership, as a member of our team and individually within a complex, changing and challenging environment.
