Service Delivery Lead

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Locality Impact directorate and lead on Service Delivery in London Service area.

Position: Service Delivery Lead

Location: Homebased - London with extensive travel across the service area

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: Salary circa £41,000 per annum (inner London weighting £3,299 per annum/pro rata or outer London weighting £1,755 per annum/pro rata may be applied in accordance to where you live)

Contract: Permanent

The Role

Reporting to the Associate Director, the Service Delivery Lead will lead to significantly increase the Association’s reach and impact on people affected by Stroke through effective systems leadership, creating and managing locality-based relationships, influencing the stroke pathway, and delivery of high quality stroke support.

Key responsibilities will include, supporting staff and volunteers to:

 

  • Increase impact and reach through service delivery, engagement and influencing activity
  • Ensure stroke survivors have a strong an influential voice in shaping and improving local policy and practice
  • Deliver value to customers who receive and use locality based services and activities
  • Increase consistency in quality and reach of services, with a focus on addressing health inequalities
  • Enable peer support and self-sustaining stroke communities to flourish in the locality
  • Provide management to direct reports

 

About You

As Service Delivery Lead, you will have experience of:

 

  • Leading, managing and developing people
  • Delivering services within contractual agreements and budget
  • Leading on writing proposals, business cases and tendering processes
  • Understanding of health, social care and voluntary sector in relation to service delivery and commissioning

 

The ability to travel extensively across the locality is essential to be able to fulfil the requirements of the role.
