We’re looking for someone with great communication and event organising skills. You will need good attention to detail and the ability to juggle a variety of tasks. Welsh speaker desirable, or willingness to learn as part of the role. https://copronet.wales/jobs

We’re a small non-profit, but what we do makes a difference across the Welsh public services landscape. Our vision is that of a fairer and more sustainable Wales where everyone has a voice.

We have been granted funding for 5 years (starting March 2021), as part of the National Lottery Community Fund’s Supporting Great Ideas fund. The purpose of the programme is to work with Public Services Boards (PSBs) across Wales to improve their capabilities and their practical experience with co-production and citizen involvement. Our consultants are working hands-on with 3 PSB clusters, and we are supporting the rest through a shared learning network. This links up with our existing, wider, Wales-wide network of co-production practitioners. This funded programme is aligned with our principal organisational aim of improving co-production and citizen involvement across public services and across Wales.

As Programme Coordinator you will have a vital role to play in supporting the Programme Manager to ensure the delivery of the funded programme activities and outcomes, and linking them to the Network’s wider aims and vision. The role is varied and will require you to juggle a variety of tasks:
1. Communications: ensuring that our work is communicated through a variety of channels, to reach our diverse range of audiences
2. Events: supporting the digital and in-person events that allow our stakeholders and communities to learn together and share their co-production and involvement practice
3. Administration: contributing to the wider team’s operations and the Network’s processes

It is really important for the Network that our Coordinator has some skills in Welsh, as this is currently underrepresented in the team and will in time impact our ability to deliver. Fluency in Welsh would be desirable, but otherwise we will require you to commit to learning Welsh as part of the role. You will be expected to contribute in Welsh in a manner commensurate with your skills development.

This role is home-based for someone in Wales. Some travel will be required, Covid-19 restrictions permitting. This post is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
