Special Educational Needs Support Officer
Location: Stratford with some travel across other settings
Hours: Permanent - 15hrs per week
Starting salary: £12,000 - £12,800 per annum depending upon experience

The Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Officer will work from a child centred approach and primarily be concerned with supporting Practitioners with complex SEN cases and developing resources to fully support children with SEN.

The aim of this post is to ensure Practitioners deliver a high level of service to all families with children with a Special Educational Need. The post-holder will work closely with and support Practitioners to develop resources to ensure all SEN pupils are well supported. The post-holder will be based at Central Office (Stratford) with some travel to schools across the organisation's settings.

The successful candidate will have a confident ability to form professional partnerships with schools and proven experience of sharing good practice and setting high standards. They will also have experience of managing staff and working effectively to build family resilience and be highly skilled in engaging children and their families, particularly around those with SEN.
