The Emotional Wellbeing and Support Project works to support people who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The project provides isolated individuals with a Well-being adviser who works to support them to become more connected reducing anxiety and isolation.

This exciting role will engage Greenwich residents who are experiencing isolation and reduced mental wellbeing due to the pandemic. In this role you will be developing community based activities to help combat loneliness and isolation and access opportunities for connection. The project will provide one to one support through a bank of trained volunteer well-being advisers who provide emotional support to individuals, through telephone or face to face meetings. The volunteers will also signpost to further sources of support and activities to enable individuals to take part in opportunities and integrate into the community.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and experience of managing a team of volunteers. In addition, candidates will require a good knowledge of the issues facing isolated people with reduced mental wellbeing as supporting this client group is essential.
