If you have a good knowledge of fundraising and a sound knowledge of development issues for the voluntary and community sector, then this role could be for you.
As an adviser, you will provide funding and development support to a diverse range of community groups and empower community representatives to make social action a reality.
A good knowledge of the voluntary sector, project planning and measuring the impact of community projects is essential.
The purpose of the post is to give infrastructure support to local voluntary and community sector (VCS) groups and social enterprises to enable them to develop and fundraise. The service will work with local groups to assist them to support the communities they serve more effectively. This involves a number of one-to-one meetings with groups at EVA and the premises of VCS groups.
