Job Details
TPP is delighted to be partnering with a much loved children's charity to recruit for an Event Manager (official job title). This is a maternity cover position to March 31st 2022, working on a part-time basis (3 or 4 days a week) paying £28,631 - £32,000 pro rata. This is a remote position but you can work from a London hub or a local office if necessary. Travel costs to events will be covered.
You will be joining a charity that has an exciting portfolio of events. You will be particularly focused on developing and scaling up virtual events that were successfully piloted last year. You will continue to test these events and introduce them to the masses. Such events include a virtual 'always on' step challenge, triathlon and trek to the North Pole. Additionally, you will have an arms length responsibility for challenge/third party events including the London Marathon.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have virtual events experience or third party events experience. You will be creative and innovative with an interest in testing new ideas/products. You will have a successful income track record with fantastic communication skills to inspire internal stakeholders and supporters.
