Head of Major Giving

I am delighted to be working with a leading youth charity who has a brand-new requirement for a Head of Major Giving to join them on a permanent basis.

As Head of Major Giving, you will play an instrumental role in driving forward their ambitious five-year growth strategy.

Your focus will be on shaping the strategy for the Major Giving team to meet income targets by successfully liaising with established supporters and engaging new supporters to their work and vision.

You will act as an ambassador for the charity, attending high level meetings and events, demonstrating their philanthropic ethos and secure fundraising support through a variety of activities.

This hands-on role is pivotal to the ongoing success of their fundraising targets and strategies. You will lead and motivate the team to reach their full potential, sharing knowledge and skills to provide high-net-worth donors with an exceptional experience, which will secure future support for the charity.

You will be accustomed to managing budgets and settling robust annual targets for the team.
With a track record in a senior fundraising role working with high-net-worth individuals, trusts and foundations, you will be accustomed to securing new business exceeding six figures. You will have experience in leading and coaching a team with strong project management skills.
