Business Development & Partnerships Executive

Location
Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Salary
£21000 to £24000
Closing date

Cheltenham Festivals is a charity creating experiences which bring joy, spark curiosity, connect communities and inspire change. Our year-round education, community and talent development programmes culminate at the town’s internationally acclaimed Jazz, Science, Music and Literature Festivals.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within an experienced Corporate Partnerships Team. We work with a range of organisations, both in the UK and internationally, to create mutually beneficial collaborations, based on shared values, that support our own organisational objectives and those of our partners.

You will be part of a team building on our track record of securing leading partnerships with Sky Arts, The Times & Sunday Times, Marquee TV, EDF Energy, Deepmind, Audible, BT, Westons and Waterstones.

We have two roles – one supporting the Head of Business Development which will focus upon researching, identifying and securing new partners, building a robust pipeline, preparing pitches to big UK and global brands and developing collaborations to create long-lasting relationships.

The Partnership Executive role will support the Head of Partnerships with account management and will also have responsibility of managing their own portfolio of accounts across each festival. You will work closely with the partnership team and colleagues to continuously innovate the collaborations and fulfilment of mutual objectives so that we generate revenue and enhance brand reputation and reach for Cheltenham Festivals and our partners.

For both roles we need:
• Experience of working with major UK brands and companies to gain new business
• Proven demonstration of hitting sales / fundraising targets
• A passion for building relationships with companies with innovative collaborations and income generating ideas

And it is an exciting time to join us too – as we will be relocating to our new home at the Minster Exchange, Cheltenham next year.
