We are Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking.
Our mission is to achieve a better walking environment and inspire people to walk more.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated finance professional to join our Finance team in London.
The post holder will be at least PQ Accountant or an Associate member of CCAB.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional organisational and time management skills and experience of Charity SORP accounting and FRS 102. They will prepare the draft year end statutory Financial Statements and ensure the implementation of proper internal controls, achieving the organisational targets.
The post holder will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities will include overseeing of purchase and sales ledgers of both Living Streets and its trading subsidiary Living Streets Services, performing weekly bank reconciliations, monthly control accounts and supporting budget holders with management accounts queries and budget.
The post holder will also assist the Director of Finance with adhoc finance queries in matters relating to Payroll, VAT and Gift Aid claims submission to HMRC.
