This will involve building and maintaining external relationships key to strategic delivery, and working closely with Departments Directors, Goal Leads and our Executive Group team. Important will be the ability to ensure that the Executive Directors’ time and profile are used most effectively to support the organisational priorities and advance our mission. For this role, you must have high level political and media awareness gained through work in advocacy, campaigning, communications, government or similar. Used to managing and developing a team, you will be experienced in representing organisations, and senior management at internal and external meetings and events. You will possess exceptional interpersonal and networking skills and be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders. The ability to interpret and analyse complex information and rapidly produce first rate written material is essential too. You must also be flexible and able to adapt to our ever-changing needs and most importantly, demonstrate a passion and commitment to the natural world and WWF’s core mission.

Experience of working on environmental, social justice or development issues would be an advantage.

If you have the expertise to ensure that our Executive Directors’ time and profiles are used most effectively in support of nature, we would love to hear from. Every role at WWF is open to applications from all sections of society. We believe in the potential of everyone regardless of; sex, race, religion or belief, ethnic origin, different physical ability, family structure, socio-economics, age, nationality or citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other aspect that makes you, well you.  Here at WWF, we’re committed to conscious inclusion that helps cultivate an ethos of belonging, connection and shared purpose.  We believe that the more diverse we are the better we become; this brings us together and empowers us to develop, engage and inspire; and critically to help build a future where people can live in harmony with nature.

Our policies and benefits reflect the importance of people being able to have a good work-life balance and being able to bring their ‘full self’ to work.

Our world needs you like never before. We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it. We are looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet’s natural resources. We need you to join us in the fight for our world.

Company

Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action – tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
