We are looking for a Head of Research and Impact to cover a 12-month maternity contract.
Position: Head of Research and Impact (maternity cover)
Location: Swindon
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £46,000 to £50,000 per annum plus flexible benefits
Contract: 12 months fixed-term contract

The Role
The strategy and projects are informed by excellent research and impact measurement, ensuring that what the charity does is effectively targeted to fulfil its aims. We're looking for a Head of Research and Impact (maternity cover) to drive and manage work in this area.
The Head of Research and Impact is tasked with the design and delivery of the organisations research programme and impact framework, contributing to the development of the charity as a learning organisation. This includes understanding the operating landscape, identifying organisational research needs and responding with the delivery of an appropriate research programme that empowers both internal stakeholders and external mission partners. This position is for a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover).

About You
An experienced professional with an eye both for detail and the big picture, you'll be a confident communicator able to manage a high-performing team and ensure research insights are embedded into the organisation's programmes.
You will have experience of:
- Initiating, managing and analysing strategically valuable qualitative and quantitative research to a high standard
- Data analysis using SPSS or other industry standard formats
- Managing external consultants and/or agencies, including commissioning, briefing and monitoring progress
- Managing and leading a team
- Undertaking impact measurement and analysis work in the charity sector
- Managing online panels and/or panellist recruitment
- Using infographics, typologies and other techniques for helping others interpret data
