Job Details

Do you enjoy making a difference at work and possess highly proficient communication and people skills?  Are you someone looking for a new opportunity and to make your mark? Or you may have a fundraising background and interested in working in the education sector? We could have just the role for you; RGS Worcester seeks a skilled professional to work in an established and supportive team in a brand new role as Development and Alumni Relations Manager!

You should be competent and proficient with dealing with internal and external stakeholders; you will be hosting VIPS, Alumni and visitors as well as being the face of RGS at external events. You will be part of a busy but supportive Foundation Office team, a ‘can-do’ attitude and a sense of humour is a must!

The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) all year round to include School events such as Open Mornings across the Schools. Flexibility to support with internal and external events should be considered ahead of application. There may be the need to be travel and very occasional overnight stays for some events e.g. London receptions.

Please contact Mr Scott MacDonald, our Foundation Director for an informal discussion or should you require more information, on 01905 613 391.

Early application is encouraged; this advert will be closed early should candidates of sufficient calibre apply. Candidates will be reviewed against the person specification; please detail how you meet this in your supporting information.

In return, we offer some fabulous benefits; a provided lunch during term time, free use of the School's gym following induction, access to our Employee Assistance Programme by Health Assured, Private Healthcare, Cycle Scheme, pension and fee remission.

The Governors of RGS Worcester are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
