The Senior Digital Performance Specialist helps people with sight loss to live the life they choose by providing Digital analytics and insight across the charity, reporting on our Digital performance, driving improvements and identifying risks and opportunities from our data.

This is a senior and specialist role, providing strategic guidance to Digital and the wider Marketing, Digital and Influencing directorate, improving our Digital data literacy as an organisation and embedding a culture of self-service data-driven decision making.

This role is 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with 26 days paid holiday (excluding bank holidays) a year. As a charity, we’re always keen to support flexible working as best we can. Candidate profile

To be able to fulfil this role, and provide help to those with sight loss, the skills and experience we are looking for in a potential candidate include;

Essential
• Significant previous experience of leading an organisation’s Digital Analytics and Insight, within a Digital team/department.
• Commercially aware with an understanding of how data can be exploited to drive competitive advantage.
• Advanced user of Google Analytics.
• Advanced user of MS Excel.
• Demonstratable excellent presentation and data visualization skills.
• Proven ability to identify and understand complex business challenges and opportunities and translate these into analytical questions.
• Proven experience of conversion rate optimisation.
• Demonstratable knowledge of usability.
• Basic understanding of HTML, SQL, and JavaScript.
