Service Manager – WellFamily Plus (Part-time)
London City and Hackney

About Us

Family Action is a charity that transforms lives by providing practical, emotional and financial support to those who are experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation. We have been building stronger families since 1869 and today we work with over 60,000 families a year in around 160 community-based services, as well as supporting thousands more through our national programmes and our grants programmes.

The WellFamily Plus service has been running since 1996 and is well-established in primary care. Practitioners are based within GP practices and referrals are mainly received from GPs, so having experience of working with GPs and other social and health professionals would be an advantage. The service provides holistic psychosocial assessments and up to eight follow-up sessions addressing a range of practical and emotional needs.

We are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager for our Hackney WellFamily services in conjunction with City and Hackney CCG and the local authority.

The Benefits

- Salary of £19,162 - £21,171.50 per annum (£38,324 - £42,343 FTE) inclusive of Inner London Weighting
- Flexible working hours
- A generous pension scheme and leave entitlements
- Eye care vouchers
- Cycle to work scheme
- A great benefits package

This is an incredible opportunity for a care professional to play a key role in making a huge difference to families and individuals whilst taking your career to the next step.
