This part-time role is initially for a 3-month contract however the recruitment process for the permanent replacement is on-going, so your appointment will place you as the front-runner.
This is a stand-alone role and will be to provide financial control, management, and reporting to support the day-to-day operational services, business systems and governance.
This long-established, caring charity is gearing up to continually be improving their important work.They have an office in Central London but given the current situation, the role can be managed remotely with occasional visits into to London to meet the team.
The part-time Finance Manager will be a key player in the charity leadership in contact with the Trustees and CEO and all partner organisation colleagues. The role requires a dynamic multi-tasker and people-person of integrity who is also keen to deliver a professional-client finance service.
There is plenty of opportunities to shape the finance functions and make the role your own whilst helping the charity evidence its financial value. A go-ahead approach to setting and delegating budgets, sharing finance information, and securing the best value will be timely across the dedicated team.
You will work directly with the CEO which means there is also scope to work to progress business planning and strategy.
Skills and Experience
The essential and desirable skills and experience include an accountancy or AAT qualification and at least 4 years in financial management within the charity sector.
You will have the aptitude, energy and cheerful personality to contribute positively to the small, friendly and committed team.
