Neighbourhood Manager - Housing

Our client is recruiting for a Neighbourhood Manager to join their Housing Operations team on a full time basis to manage and support a team consisting of Neighbourhood Officers and a Tenancy Enforcement Specialist providing frontline tenancy and estate management services.

Within this role you will develop and manage these services to ensure their neighbourhoods and Tenants are safe, well-maintained and meet the needs of the community. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the leadership of neighbourhood, estate and tenancy management services.
• Developing and managing services to ensure Saffron neighbourhoods and communities are safe and well-maintained places to live in.
• Responsible for the response and approach to managing ASB and tenancy management
• Ensuring that their estates meet the required standard through estate inspections, with a focus on fire safety, compliance and tenant engagement.
• The effective management of  the team, with a focus on tenant satisfaction and dispute resolution

Their ideal candidate will have:

• A passion for delivering high levels of tenant satisfaction with a positive and solution focussed mindset.
• Good understanding of tenancy and neighbourhood management, including managing ASB cases
• A good understanding of team management and development. Experience of team management is desirable but not essential.
• The ability to address team performance and service quality issues effectively, with a focus on learning and improvement.
• Embraces change and new ways of working.

They manage over 6,000 homes including affordable homes for those in housing need who cannot afford to rent or buy in the open market.
