Engagement and Income – Membership and Community Manager
Job ref: MCM
Hours of work: 35 hours per week.
Salary: circa £43,000 (London based)
Place of work: Normal place of work is the organisation’s National Office in London SE1
but the current pandemic means that staff members are working principally from their homes, with many now coming into the office for part of the week. They are reviewing their homeworking policy and as restrictions ease, they anticipate a change in the overall mix of office and home working.

Our client is passionate about making the countryside a better place for everyone to live, work and enjoy. Over the past couple of years the charity has undergone great transformation which has led to a completely new brand, a strong set of organisational values, a new strategy, in depth audience insight and the launch of their new website, amongst other exciting developments.

Now, they are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Membership and Community Manager to use these developments to grow their membership programme from a more diverse range of supporters. You will do this from a national perspective as well as driving a ground-up approach, working with our network of 42 local charities. Working alongside the Head of Income Generation, the charity’s strategic, creative and media partners, as well as having the support of two officers within your team, you will be managing a team responsible for one of the charity’s core income streams.

Whilst working for this charity, you can expect to work with friendly, supportive and experienced colleagues, and have the opportunity to influence and ensure effective delivery of the fundraising activity and projects within the team’s remit.

Closing date: Tuesday 1 June 2021
Interviews: Monday 14 / Tuesday 15 June 2021
