Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £27,846 - £30,424 per annum

Second Step is actively committed to the coproduction of services and is on a journey to making this a reality. In addition to employing people with lived experience of mental health issues, we have a strong record of involving the people we support in the design, review and improvement of our services. We are also committed to establishing a strong carers’ voice within the organisation.
We are looking for someone with experience, passion and energy to help lead the continued development of coproduction / involvement activity within Second Step. You must be an excellent communicator, have good organisational skills and the ability to work alongside people with a range of skills and needs. The role includes developing and sharing best practice throughout the organisation. The role also involves providing practical and emotional support to individuals and groups of people with lived experience, to enable their involvement to make a tangible difference. You will develop and review relevant policies, guidance notes and ‘Top Tips’ and deliver training to support and share best practice.
You will be a member of the Quality and Improvement Team and have a line manager who shares your passion for, and knowledge of, this work.
