Job title: Partnerships Coordinator
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £28,500, plus benefits
Location: Milton Keynes (with potential for flexible, home-based working for the right candidate)

Our client are a national charity that exists for spinal cord injured people, run by spinal cord injured (SCI) people. For more than 45 years, they have empowered spinal cord injured people to rebuild their lives after injury through provision of vital information, representation, and support. It is a truly inspirational place to work.

They are a beacon of light for the 50,000 spinal cord injured people in the UK living day-to-day with paralysis, incontinence, and a high risk of life-threatening conditions. With determination, flexibility, and creativity they are responding to a huge increase in demand for their services, ensuring that the support they offer is available to everyone in need, no matter their circumstances.

Roughly 2,500 people each year sustain or acquire a spinal cord injury, and they are currently undergoing a period of rapid development to create a network of support available to every spinal cord injured person in the UK. They are soon set to become a true Association of people and partners, working collaboratively to ensure that a fulfilled life is a possibility for everyone affected by spinal cord injury.

If you enjoy building outstanding, long-lasting relationships, are a strategic thinker, and love working collaboratively with committed stakeholders, then they could have the perfect job for you.

They are looking for someone to join their dynamically evolving fundraising team, to take a leading role in the ongoing success of their strategic relationships with Trusted Partners, and to make sure that they are capitalizing on the opportunities presented by working with firms who are committed and engaged across all of their charitable services and activities.

They are in the midst of transformational change. They already make a significant difference to the lives of people affected by spinal cord injury, but there is so much more they plan to do. They have ambitious plans to scale up their reach and impact to make sure that they are able to support everyone affected by spinal cord injury in the UK each year, and securing and maintaining high value partnerships is just one of the ways that they aim to achieve these plans.

With 20 Trusted Partners currently supporting them from across the Legal, Care and Financial sectors, they are keen to continue the development of these relationships, whilst also securing new partners across many different business sectors who interact with the wider SCI community. They have ambitious plans to turn the charity into an ‘Association for All’, making sure that they can meet the unique, individual needs of everyone they support for life after spinal cord injury.

If you share their passion, drive, have a can-do attitude and have a background in a corporate fundraising, business development or corporate account management, then they would love to hear from you.

Application deadline is: 5pm, Friday 17th May 2021
Interviews will be held on May 24th over MS Teams
