28 hours per week

The Limbless Association provides support, information and connectivity to the limb loss community. We are a long-standing national charity based in Chelmsford in Essex, which through our stakeholder networks, extends our reach as an organisation operating and connecting nationally.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to join our growing team.

This exciting new role requires someone with the vision and energy to develop a clear 3-year fundraising & partnership development strategy that will build upon existing strengths of LA and develop new, innovative ideas in a professional and effective manner.

Working with LA’s Chief Executive and the Board of Trustees to design, implement and effectively monitor a strategy, you will be adaptable, creative and have strong relationship building skills.

A well-connected, experienced, unflappable professional who can develop initiatives to ensure the charity has access to a number of diverse income strands. Proven fundraising success via community fundraising initiatives is desirable. We would also welcome applications from those with the following disciplines and within a frontline charity environment: corporate, community, legacy, grant funding.

The role requires a consummate networker in order to ensure the charity can develop productive relationships and raise its profile across multiple settings. The successful applicant will have excellent communications skills, written and verbal, that include supporting social media communications in a professional setting.

The ability to make a tangible contribution to the growth and reach of this long-standing charity. The Limbless Association is in the process of an exciting transformation which presents multiple opportunities and potential for the right applicant.

Supporting Documents for Fundraising & Partnerships Manager


We are a registered charity that has been supporting amputees for over 35 years. We aim to support amputees, pre and post-amputation, to navigate the associated complexities with advice, information and signposting to empower individuals and their families to optimise their recovery and rehabilitation.

We provide support through;

  • a helpdesk, offering assistance with a wide range of matters and support to access the relevant services and resources,
  • Peer support, this vital service is expanding and supported by the National Lottery Community Fund. Our volunteers are all amputees who understand the challenges in the early days, weeks and months of limb loss.
  • Support and Connect Hubs which are currently running in Essex, Manchester, Bristol and Hull with more planned across the UK.
  • Access to expert legal advice
