We are looking to recruit a new Public Affairs Officer to lead our work with the opposition parties at Westminster.

The Salvation Army is committed to bringing about a socially just Britain and has played a major role in supporting vulnerable people during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are a major campaigning voice on homelessness, poverty and modern slavery and deliver frontline services to people in deprived communities across the country.

In 2021 we will be building on our successful work last year that saw us set the agenda on the impact of Universal Credit on Britain’s most deprived communities. We are looking to recruit a new Public Affairs Officer to lead our work with the opposition parties at Westminster.

A persuasive advocate and negotiator, you will have proven experience of working for a member of parliament on national policy issues and have demonstrable experience of using House of Commons procedures to further political campaigns.
