Regional Partnerships Manager
Do you have a proven track record in sales and networking and a desire to see children released from poverty? Does the opportunity to combine both sound like the dream job for you? We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Partnerships Manager to establish, build, maintain and grow key relationships with existing and potential Church Partners within a Christian organisation.
Position: Regional Partnerships Manager
Location: Greater Manchester area with extensive travel within the region
Salary: £33,400 - £39,500
Hours: 35 hours per week over a flexible working pattern with some Sunday working
Contract: Permanent
Benefits: Enhanced pension scheme with 10% employer contribution, equivalent of 5 normal working weeks' annual leave a year, plus normal bank holidays, Dental Insurance, Income Protection and Group Life cover on appointment.

The charity’s Partnerships Department fosters relationships with key existing and prospective partners and is committed to growing the number of children in developing countries who benefit from the organisations sponsorship programme and the number of communities that benefit from its Beyond Sponsorship funding programmes. The team is passionate about releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name, is committed to achieving ambitious growth objectives in a timely manner and cultivating long-term relationships that aide the mission.
About the Role
As a Regional Partnerships Manager, you’ll work within the Partnerships Department to establish, build, maintain and grow relationships with existing and potential Church Partners to manage local events in order to maximise the opportunities from these partnerships and to achieve regional acquisition objectives.
You will work in collaboration with volunteers, the philanthropy and events team to maximise impact.
Responsibilities include:
- Actively maintain and promote the organisations Christian ethos and values
- Maximise the number of child sponsorships from churches and local events
- Work collaboratively across the organisation to effectively meet objectives
To ensure good stewardship of the charity’s resources, preference will be given to those located within the Greater Manchester area.
About You
To flourish as Regional Partnerships Manager, you’ll need:
- Sales experience
- Excellent networking experience
- To be a confident and effective public speaker
- An understanding of the aspirations of church leaders
- Core office/administrative skills
- A full driving licence with car
You must be personally committed to the Christian faith and be able to respect, uphold and work within our client’s Christian mission, values, culture and faith statements.
You will represent and speak on behalf of a Christian charity and as such the Occupational Requirement for an active Christian faith is justified under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1, clause 3.
