We are looking for an Information and Fundraising Compliance Manager to help bolster our work to cope with the increased responsibilities placed on the organisation by GDPR and other privacy related legislation.            

A key element of the role will be leading compliance on marketing, fundraising and digital practices and processes.                

In addition, you will help to develop compliance, support data subject rights and engender trust among our date subjects that their personal data and their privacy are respected. The work will involve supporting the Data Protection

Officer and working closely with the Fundraising Management Team in all aspects of the work including handling subject access requests, data protection impact assessments and legitimate interests balancing tests. As the Information and Fundraising Compliance Manager you will be also advise colleagues throughout the organisation, documenting processes, and developing training and awareness material.

To be successful in this role you will be educated to degree level with experience working in a data protection, information governance or fundraising compliance role, and will have:

  • A good knowledge of data protection law 
  • A good knowledge of digital compliance issues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to develop pragmatic solutions to often complex issues
  • The ability to work accurately under pressure

This is a permanent position based at Territorial Headquarters currently located at 101 Newington Causeway, London SE1 6BN. The post holder will be required to work remotely until at least June 2021. Within the next 1-2 years the current office in Newington Causeway will be vacated. New flexible working arrangements are being developed in Central London area to reflect the changed world of work that has arisen following the Covid-19 pandemic.
