Grant Fundraising Manager
Bioregional Development Group, South London
37.5 hours a week
TPP are excited to be working in exclusive partnership with Bioregional Development Group.
This is an exciting opportunity for a fundraiser with a proven track record in securing major trust, statutory, and lottery grants. We are looking for a helpful and organised person with great communication skills and a passion for sustainability to join their friendly team.
Bioregional is an internationally award-winning social enterprise and charity working at the cutting edge of sustainability. Their work on eco-communities and enterprises has influenced policy and industry practice in the UK and around the world. They currently employ 30 people in the UK and have a turnover of £1.5 million, with grants typically accounting for 20-30% of their income. They have a number of well-developed and compelling projects which you could help to make a reality.
They need an experienced grants fundraiser who will be confident working both autonomously and closely with the CEO and senior team to maintain their level of grant income.
The main day-to-day activity will be managing the progress of bids from conception to completion alongside the project managers. Statutory grant opportunities often come up as a natural part of their work and the team will bring bids to you for your support in the process. You will also have the opportunity to develop and lead some bids yourself, particularly to Trusts and Foundations. You will maintain a strategic overview of opportunities, support and build staff capacity, and manage their relationships with funders.
The role is based in their offices at the award-winning BedZED eco-village in Hackbridge, Sutton, south London, on the mainline Victoria and Thameslink train lines. Remote working is an option but you will be required to visit the office at least once a week (post restrictions).
They offer 6% employer's ethical pension contribution and 25 days' annual leave rising by one day a year for the first five years.
Bioregional is committed to increasing diversity within their organisation, and the environmental sector as a whole. They welcome job applications from all, and treat all applications equally, regardless of age, disability, gender identity or gender expression, race, ethnicity, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation or any other equality characteristic.
Salary: £31,500-£42,000 full time depending on skills and experience
