Help to Claim and IAG Services
Full and Part-time posts available
“Citizens Advice offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. We give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem. We help with everything from money issues to problems at work, housing to consumer rights.
The Help to Claim service is a high profile, national, DWP funded service delivering high quality advice and support to clients to make a new claim for Universal Credit in person, over the telephone or via webchat.
The IAG service is funded by Haringey Council to provide high quality advice, information and guidance to residents living, working or studying in the borough. The main point of contact is through the telephone with some face to face work.
We are looking for advisers with good communication and IT skills to support clients on a range of advice issues and to support people to make and complete their new Universal Credit claim, as well as a commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice Service.
You’ll have the ability to interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to get to the root of the issues and empower clients, whilst maintaining structure and control of meetings and delivering a high quality service in line with funder and Citizens Advice requirements.
Closing date: 14th May 2021
Whilst working for us you will be a part of our amazing team and you will have a fantastic opportunity to achieve great things.
