Our client are a social landlord in Hertfordshire committed to providing excellent services and homes to their customers as well as offering fulfilling employment opportunities to their valued staff team.

Our client  want to make sure they are an inclusive employer and landlord, and an excellent role model in their community when it comes to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) issues. They need someone to come and work with them over the next year to help them improve in this area and support the delivery of their action plan.

This is a 13-month maternity cover on a part-time basis and they are flexible on times and days worked. Our client are also open to remote or home working options and have already enhanced their flexible working options as a result of the pandemic.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of coordinating equality, diversity and inclusion work across an organisation. You have a real opportunity here to make a difference, and you will work with teams across the business to enable them to help them embed EDI in their own areas.

You will need to communicate well with people at all levels and bring good knowledge of EDI and how to embed this in both employment practices and service delivery for customers.

Our client are a great place to work, do read their welcome letter to find out more about how they work, the priorities for the role over the next year, and full details of the role itself.

Our client offer a competitive benefits package including generous leave entitlements and a personal pension scheme.

They believe in the benefits of a diverse workforce and strongly welcome applications from those currently under-represented in the organisation, including LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) people, people with disabilities and people from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
